We are currently recruiting to the following position:

COMMUNITY BUILDER (CARERS)

Salary : £22,816 per annum pro rata (£13,690 actual)
21 hours per week (35 hours per week FT equivalent)
Funded until June 2022

As a Community Builder you will work with the local community in the Harehills area of Leeds to support carers from BAME communities to be able to have a short break from caring using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) model. You will focus on engaging the skills, knowledge and talent of local residents through relationship building. This will identify, engage and motivate Community Connectors who will lead positive change.

You will have relevant experience, be an effective communicator with a passion for excellence in your professional field. What’s essential is that you love what you do. We want you to enjoy coming to work every day and to care about your job, your colleagues and our service users.

You will be working in Harehills with Feel Good Factor’s office in Chapeltown as a base.
