“One of the best things we can do for our mental health and wellbeing is to be active – it’s a natural mood booster.  Our bodies release feel-good hormones when we’re active that can also reduce anxiety and stress, and help us sleep better.” (NHS, Every Mind Matters)

The Feel Good Factor Walking Group meets every fortnight on a Thursday morning for a gentle walk, nothing too challenging.

Two walks are planned per month, each lasting around two hours. You can find out where we are heading by keeping an eye out for our monthly What’s On guide.

Next up we’re looking forward to:

Thursday 11th June  – Golden Acre Park
Thursday 25th June – Kirkstall Abbey & canal walk

When going further afield we arrange to meet in town at Dortmund Square at 10am, and bus passes are available for those who need them.

We recommend you wear clothing and shoes suitable for the weather, wear sunscreen, bring water and a waterproof jacket if you need one.
