Feel Good Factor’s mobile play project is funded by the Big Lottery for a period of 3 years, it provides open access play provision to children in East Leeds. Open access means that children are free to come and go as they please. It is a free service for all children in the local area to attend and local parents are encouraged to get involved.
Play sessions are facilitated by the play team who are all CRB checked, qualified, and experienced. Sessions are also often attended by CRB checked Feel Good Factor volunteers. Mobile Play takes place in areas of East Leeds that have little or no local play provision and are currently running in Whinmoor, Ebor Gardens and Richmond Hill. The sessions are placed in these areas on a continual basis and are currently running over the summer holidays and will be continuing with evening or weekend sessions after the holidays. All activities takes place outdoors in venues such as school fields, local parks and fields.
