Welcome to Feel Good Factor Leeds

Feel Good Factor was established as an organisation in 2003 after successfully securing 1million funding over a 5 year period from the Big Lottery to address health inequalities and target resources at some of the most disadvantaged communities in Leeds. Feel Good Factor was initially funded to work within the Chapeltown and Harehills area of Leeds.
In 2006 we became a company limited by guarantee and secured charitable status in 2007 leading the organisation to broaden its remit which now allows us to operate on a citywide basis. Since then we have been successful in securing funding to deliver other services and health and wellbeing activities on behalf of Leeds City Council and the Strategic Health Authority and NHS Leeds.

Some of our activities, projects and services include:

Older and Active in Leeds. A citywide project delivering healthy living activities and projects targeting people aged 50 and over.
Community Wellbeing focuses on health and wellbeing within the Chapeltown and Harehills area by delivering a range of activities which encourage physical and mental wellbeing i.e. physical activity classes, healthy eating, mental wellbeing activities.
Change4Life provides opportunities and access to training for local people as a first step to formal learning.
