Feel Good Factor offer a number of activities around healthy eating within schools, community groups and at events.
It is imperative that our work provides people with the knowledge, understanding and skills to eat a healthy and well balanced diet, which is full of variety and reflects all cultural diverse foods.It is important to encourage small, sustainable changes that can be maintained throughout a person’s life time.
By encouraging people to make healthier informed choices in relation to healthy eating the rates of coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol and stroke can be reduced. The health problems stated are a particular concern within the BME community.
