During my placement time at Feel Good Factor I have done a range of different things. Learning about community food at university has given me an insight of what Feel Good Factor does and its achievements. I’ve been made to feel very welcome at Feel Good Factor and have worked on a range of different projects with different members of staff.

Cook4life course: I felt the four week cook4life course was absolutely brilliant. Meeting new people and learning new skills has been very beneficial, expanding my awareness about healthy eating. The knowledge which I gained from the course will always stay with me, ensuring that I put it into practice in the future. Helping assist the course has helped me develop my communication skills and build on my confidence. I will definitely recommend attending the Cook4Life course. It’s fun, free and fab, what’s not to like?

Money matters course: The money matters course has helped me to be more aware of my spending. It has also provided me with contacts with energy saving companies such as the Green Doctor. This has been beneficial, especially because I learnt about what a difference it could make during the course. When I was put into practice I realised that it really does work. I’ve gained tips which have helped me think twice when spending and having changed my views when spending money.

I’ve really enjoyed my time at Feel Good Factor and now want to apply for the CHEs course. It’s been an inspiration working here and getting a feel of professional work life.
